Radha awarded contract from South Carolina Dept. of Employment and Workforce to develop and deploy smartphone app

Radha was awarded a contract to design, develop and deploy the first smarphone app to enable claimants to file weekly unemployment claims via a smartphone. In addition to providing a high level of self-service for claimants, the app will also provide dynamic messaging, GPS integration, automated alerts and automatic improper payment detection. The South Carolina Dept. of Employment and Workforce will be the first agency in the country to deploy such an app.

The South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) is responsible for paying unemployment insurance benefits, collecting unemployment taxes, helping people find jobs, matching businesses with qualified candidates, and collecting and disseminating state/federal employment statistics.

DEW, one of 16 cabinet agencies, is a partner in the state’s workforce system. This includes SC Works centers, satellite offices and Connection Points in 12 local workforce investment areas, where DEW and its partners provide services to meet the needs of the state’s businesses, jobseekers and those looking to further their careers.

Radha awarded contract from South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks to assess, design and develop aquatics system

Radha was awarded a contract from the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks to conduct a needs assessment to help guide the design and construction of a comprehensive system to house, analyze, and disseminate aquatics information. The current data storage, analysis and dissemination system is handled on an office by office basis which leads to a lack of standardization in how data is managed. 

This contract will provide requirements and guidance on the best approach to building a comprehensive system to accomplish the consolidated data management goals. The next phase of this effort will include developing the system based on current and future requirements.  

The purpose of the Department of Game, Fish and Parks is to perpetuate, conserve, manage, protect, and enhance South Dakota's wildlife resources, parks, and outdoor recreational opportunities for the use, benefit, and enjoyment of the people of the state and its visitors, and to give the highest priority to the welfare of this state's wildlife and parks, and their environment, in planning and decisions. Radha awarded Washington Information Technology Services Contract
